Imagine the future

The CTO will build his Ai agents. The CISO will build agents. Everybody builds agents. At least that is the prediction. I stand by that prediction. It is educational for me to play with these scenarios of future.
There should be a market wherever things are built and used. Not all CTOs are hyper-productive. Why shouldn’t those CTOs be allowed to buy Ai agents?
Who would sell me a few agents?
I might actually dish out some proper money for Ai agents that would do the job at hand!
Death of SaaS and Ai (and agents)
It is said SaaS is dying. Heck - I’m one of those just itching to get rid of Jira. I’m also starting to feel like Salesforce is a drag. Just give me the data and I would happily build custom agentic workflows to automate everything.
But I realise I may be crazy and overreaching.
What if somebody sold me those Ai agents that replace minimally the bloated SaaS:es?
I would consider for some.
A eTraining platform without APIs for agents to create and modify trainings? Not for me. I’ll build my own. Hmm. I’m sure there is a limit to the effectiveness here.
I don’t actually probably need the great SaaS with great UI. Just give me the data storage and nice interface for my Agents. Or actually: could somebody provide me the trainings as agents?
Consultants as agents
They say consultancy is also dead. Just prompt and you get what consultant would have said too. I’m a consultant so I’m dead as business. Eventually - at least like just a person holding information and parroting it out.
Consultants serve as great example. They are people for hire. People with talent and knowledge. Consultants can also do stuff.
So can good agents.
This brings me to a generalisation. Any human activity is business could be made into an agent. If you think about this like that, you might notice many new business opportunities. Like countless.
You can make even super-workers. Those Ai agents that do the work of 3 people in one. That might be possible soon enough.
Some human-in-the-loop is real. It will not go away. Even when I’m foreseeing the disruption of careers as they are, I’m thinking that the human activity will stay in businesses. Humans connect the digital stuff into reality. The human binds the imaginary stuff that Ai generates into reality. Humans curate, in a way, what is real and what is fabulation.
Think forward - get a taste of future - see the opportunities
I may be dead wrong here. I take that chance. Having written this, my brain has had its exercise. I have one more neural pathway.
And I actually have a business idea too. Would not have happened if I had not done the scenario play.
